6 October 2020, Paris – We are pleased to announce Analyzer 7.3, our complete suite for measuring and optimizing camera image quality. This Analyzer update includes many diverse and much anticipated camera testing features catering camera module makers and manufacturers of camera equipped devices from surveillance, smartphone, DSLR, action cam and automotive industries.

It includes the following-

1. Raw – a standard for evaluating camera modules

2. Flare-bench – test setup for measuring flare

3. Photoflow – scripts for automated image quality testing

Flare-bench

Unwanted flare is a reality for all types of camera systems whether surveillance, smartphone, drones or automotive. In order to reduce the occurrence of unwanted flare, you need to be able to measure it. The Flare Bench in Analyzer 7.3 is a hardware setup that can simulate as well as measure flare for any type of camera. The setup contains a bright light source that generates flares that resemble those created by the sun. Using this setup, you can also measure Flare Accentuation, our proprietary measurement based on RAW images. Read more.

Raw

Great product performance can be achieved only if you select good components. Analyzer 7.3’s Raw module is a unique standard that objectively measures the image quality of smartphone camera modules. Our solution contains test setups and scripts that can generate scores, measurements, and detailed reports. Read more.

Photoflow
