DXOMARK is proud to announce the launch of a new image quality evaluation laboratory in Chongqing, built in collaboration with TECNO. This facility underscores DXOMARK’s ability to deliver testing solutions that are both scientifically robust and tailored to the unique goals of its partners.

Equipped with Analyzer lab solutions and AZ software, the Chongqing lab supports advanced high dynamic range testing in a controlled environment, simulating real-world conditions with precision. Automation plays a central role, with robotic arms and streamlined workflows ensuring consistency from initial calibration through to final reporting.

A distinctive feature of the lab is its inclusive imaging evaluation capability. Using 3D head models and scientifically calibrated color charts, it conducts detailed skin tone testing to ensure accurate representation of color and texture across diverse global complexions.

In addition, DXOMARK’s regionally customized evaluation protocols enable TECNO to adapt imaging performance to specific market preferences, optimizing camera algorithms for different user needs.

This initiative highlights DXOMARK’s expertise in creating customized, industry-leading testing solutions that combine technical excellence with a deep understanding of market demands.
