PARIS, FR, January 8, 2024 – DXOMARK, the international leader in the quality assessment of camera and display performance of professional and consumer electronic devices, announced today its new collaboration with Leopard Imaging, a global leader in intelligent embedded vision solutions. This strategic partnership aims to boost camera quality evaluation by establishing joint testing and service provisions tailored for the imaging industry. Clients will have access to a newly built state-of-the-art DXOMARK laboratory located at Leopard Imaging’s facilities in the heart of the Bay Area, California.

With over 20 years of experience in image quality solutions, DXOMARK has built a comprehensive imaging system testing, used for sensors, optics, and image processing chips across a wide spectrum of devices. Teaming up with Leopard Imaging, renowned for its great camera design and manufacturing expertise, this partnership will offer complete services to a plethora of industries (including automotive, aerospace, drone, IoT, and robotics industries), with lab solutions and imaging system evaluations, and increased support to local clients.

The new laboratory implemented in California will serve as a hub for advancing camera quality evaluation, providing value added services and access to latest DXOMARK testing capability for display and camera, notably in the automotive industry, as Analyzer is one of the first complete testing setup fully compliant with the upcoming IEEE/P2020 Standard, including in key metrics such as flare attenuation; flicker mitigation; 120dB noise evaluation; and 170 dB dynamic range.
