DXOMARK has announced its collaboration with Leopard Imaging, a global leader in intelligent embedded solutions. This strategic partnership aims to boost camera quality evaluation by establishing joint testing and service provisions tailored for the imaging industry. Clients will have access to a newly built state-of-the-art DXOMARK laboratory located at Leopard Imaging’s facilities in Freemont, in the heart of the Bay Area, California.
Combining DXOMARK’s comprehensive imaging system testing and Leopard Imaging’s strong camera design expertise, this partnership will offer complete services to a wide range of industries (including automotive, aerospace, drone, IoT, and robotics), with lab solutions and imaging system evaluations, and will provide increased support to local clients.
The new laboratory in California will serve as a hub for advancing camera quality evaluation, providing value-added services and access to the latest DXOMARK testing capabilities for display and camera, notably in the automotive industry. DXOMARK’s Analyzer is one of the first complete testing setups that is fully compliant with the upcoming IEEE/P2020 Standard, including in key metrics such as flare attenuation, flicker mitigation, 120dB noise evaluation and 170 dB dynamic range.
