A comprehensive and detailed report on Display quality
Get access to an exhaustive performance view of your competitors’ devices, which have undergone our classic Display protocol, which gathers 400 objective measurements and perceptual analyses. The protocol is based on four major use cases: browsing the web, navigating through the photo gallery, gaming, and watching videos, focusing on four different technical attributes:
- Readability: the comfort of the display when viewing various contents from a web page to the photo gallery (excluding videos) under different situations and lighting conditions (from total darkness to bright sunlight). Key metrics include: readability vs. ambient lighting, readability vs. APL, dynamic luminance adaptation, EOTF, uniformity, readability in angle, temporal light modulation, and screen reflectance.
- Color: the color rendering in various usages situations such as color rendering vs. ambient lighting, color vs. angle, color uniformity, efficiency and impact of the blue light filter
- Video: the display rendering for SDR and HDR videos in terms of luminance, EOTF, color, frame drops, and video artifacts
- Touch: the level of smoothness and precision of the touch panel with regards to the response time, accuracy, and smoothness.
