The AF-HDR Portrait Testing Solution combines latest technology and realistic conditions to deliver unparalleled camera benchmarking capabilities for both photo and video applications. Designed to simulate real-world scenarios, it provides a controlled yet challenging environment to evaluate imaging systems comprehensively.

Central to this setup are two realistic mannequins with deep and fair skin tones, enabling precise evaluation of facial detail preservation under HDR conditions. LED panels create dynamic lighting environments, while moving objects and a timer box allow for accurate testing of autofocus and motion blur performance.

Reflective and transmissive grey scales allow for noise and contrast analysis at different levels of the image dynamic range.

Enhancing the setup further, our Multispectral Lighting System (MLS) reproduces an extensive range of lighting conditions, from as low as 0.1 lux for night photography to 10,000 lux for bright outdoor scenes. This capability ensures comprehensive testing across all brightness levels.

The inclusion of an hexapod motion platform adds another dimension to the evaluation process, introducing six-axis movement to simulate real-world dynamics and rigorously challenge the device under test, for use cases such as holding by hand and walk movements.

Integrated with the DXOMARK Analyzer, this setup provides a complete range of objective metrics, even new HDR dedicated metrics, and automated workflows. With its holistic design, the solution empowers engineers to optimize imaging systems for the most demanding applications, ensuring peak performance in any scenario.
