DXOMARK Seminar in China

DXOMARK’s recent seminars in Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen provided a great opportunity to showcase our latest innovations in smartphone imaging technology and to discuss them with experts from the Chinese smartphone industry and tech media professionals.

During a two-week tour, the seminars featured key findings on HDR portrait photography for flagship smartphones, uncovering trends in Chinese user preferences and HDR strategies adopted by manufacturers, with plans to expand the research globally.

We also presented results from our localized testing of flagship smartphones in China, emphasizing our commitment to study user preferences and support them with laboratory data. In addition, we introduced our flare testing methods and our display performance benchmarks.

Attendees at the seminars also got a preview of the upcoming DXOMARK Camera V6 testing protocol, which our engineers are preparing. The protocol, scheduled to launch in the second quarter of 2025, will incorporate the latest user insights, updated scoring weights, and broader HDR testing.
